Electrical Estimator – Residential Construction

Responsibilities

• Cooperate with purchasing managers to prepare construction plans based on master takeoffs and customer additions
• Update pricing based on customer selections and complete billing preparation
• Maintain effect communication with all internal and external customers
• Prompt response to internal and external feedback to continuously improve our processes and department
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, vendors, management, and peers

Requirements

• Detail-oriented
• Strong work ethic with a focus on team success
• Self-motivated with a desire to always be learning
• Proficient with MS Office and web-based applications
• Experience with computer-based drawing tools is helpful but not a requirement
• Effective written and oral communication sufficient to be able to communicate directly with customers and senior In Charge executives
• Individual must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multi-task, prioritizing and reprioritizing to meet company needs
• Must be willing to undergo pre-employment criminal, driving and drug screen

Required Education

• High school diploma or the equivalent
