Portable Generator Giveaway Contest Rules

1. Contest Overview:

The Portable Generator Giveaway (the “Contest”) is open to residents of Austin, Dallas, Houston, and surrounding areas in Texas and residents of central Florida including Lake, Sumter, and Marion Counties. The Contest is sponsored by In Charge Electrical Services and Lenhart Electric- powered by In Charge (“Sponsor”).

2. Eligibility:

– The Contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. 

– Employees of the Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

 3. Contest Period:

The Contest begins on May 2, 2025, at 12:00 AM Central time and ends on July 1, 2025, at 11:59 PM Central time (“Contest Period”). Entries submitted outside of this period will not be considered.

4. How to Enter: 

– No purchase is necessary to enter.  

– Participants can enter the Contest by filling out the official online registration form. Confirmation of successful registration will be provided through a confirmation page immediately after the form is submitted. Contest sponsor reserves the right to communicate with registrants throughout the registration period and may send ongoing marketing messages on occasion beyond the contest period. 

– Each participant may enter only once. Multiple entries will be disqualified. 

5. Selection of Winners:

– Winners will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. 

– The drawing will be conducted on or about July 5, 2025. 

– Winners will be notified via email and phone, within 2 business days of the drawing. If winner can not be reached within 5 business days, an alternate winner will be randomly selected.  

– We don’t send spam, we won’t sell your information and you are not required to sit through any presentations. 

6. Prizes:

– One (1) portable Generac generator model number 8063- GP9500E MSRP $1,209.00 will be awarded to the winner, with a total of one prize available. 

– Prizes are non-transferable and no substitutions or cash equivalents will be offered unless the winner wishes to apply the retail price of the generator (excluding state sales tax) towards the installation of a Generac whole home standby generator within 6 months of the end of the contest period. In such case, the portable generator will be surrendered to the contest sponsor at the end of the contest period and a credit will be issued toward the final payment of the standby generator installation.  

7. Release of Liability:

By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability, loss, or damage arising from participation in the Contest or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize. 

8. Publicity:

By entering the Contest, participants grant the Sponsor the right to use their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. 

9. General Conditions:

– The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Contest at any time, for any reason, including if the Contest cannot be conducted as planned due to technical failures, unauthorized intervention, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor. 

– All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. 

10. Privacy:

Information collected from entrants will be used in accordance with the Sponsor’s privacy policy, which can be found at inchargeelectricalservices.com/privacy-policy

The Contest is governed by the laws of the state of Texas and state of Florida without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
